My Light

"In the darkness, these things are my light"

Chiaroscuro style for painting is an interesting concept for painting, because the surroundings are mostly dark but among the darkness there is still a light that shines. So for this artwork, I decided to put together the things that I love, a book, art materials, a perfume, and a skincare product. Throughout my whole life, I often go through some dark times, and as a way to cope, I either read a lot, project whatever I'm feeling in a painting or in a calligraphy piece, randomly I make up looks or skin care stuffs, or relax myself when I smell something with a nice scent.
